‘Signatories who provide a good quality and transparent description of their approach to Stewardship’
The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) defines stewardship as the responsible allocation, management and oversight of capital to create long-term value for clients and beneficiaries leading to sustainable benefits for the economy, the environment and society. Since our assessment, the code has further emphasised the integration of environmental factors, especially around climate change, into investment processes providing further evidence the importance of non-financial factors into fundamental stock analysis.
