On the 25th May 2018 Ben and Callum from Evenlode Investment, along with Joe from Wise Investments left London by bike and headed to Paris. Their goal was to reach Paris in under 24 hours.
Jo drove the support vehicle to provide necessary assistance over the 285km ride, as one of the riders, Ben Peters explained:
"It wasn’t all plain sailing as the support vehicle was broken into and one of the riders ended up in hospital after a bad accident. However, despite some bumps along the way we completed the challenge and raised over £2000."
The Charity, World Bicycle Relief builds and distributes specially designed, locally assembled Buffalo Bicycles to people in sub-Saharan Africa. These bikes help to improve people’s lives so that they can get to school, work and the market in a much quicker and safer fashion.
The £2,000 raised by the team will provide people in sub-Saharan Africa with at least 21 Buffalo bikes, changing many people’s lives for the better.
