The FSD Active team has a rock-solid reputation for their work in the industry over many years that will translate into a strong brand, and they have built a strong pattern of intellectual property protection across the technology. The cost of a Calmfloor® system is a small fraction of the overall building spend, yet is mission critical, and is maintained with a software subscription that gets more valuable as the data pool from installations grows.

We begin every relationship with constructive due diligence and connection to the community, and in some cases, hold an observer seat on the board as we do in this case. We build close relationships with all our teams, and know that they listen, hustle, build, and experiment.

The Agricarbon team will drive the farming industry from estimation to direct measurement of soil carbon. To do so, they are using a blend of hardware and software from custom ATVs, (bringing space exploration robotics to agriculture!) to high throughput lab methods and data analytics. In the long term they will create a feedback loop that was not present at scale in the agricultural industry or land management before Agricarbon.

Annie Leeson, CEO and co-founder of Agricarbon, has written an article for the Alison Rose Review of Female Entrepreneurship which can be found here on page 12.
